Some may see an away game at bottom of the league as an easy three points, but this has been the nemesis for Walsall for years, beat the teams at the top and lose to the teams at the bottom.
After Two defeats and a draw in the last three league games, Walsall went into this game on a worse run of form than the improving Newport in 24th place.
Walsall however dominated and came home with the points.
S&S Steelstock Performance Rating – 8/10 A great performance but should and could have had a lot more and even though the two goals conceded were very well taken, conceding two to bottom of the table is not great.
