- Born in Bruck an der Mur, Austria
- Started professionally at SV Mattersburg II, making 27 appearances in his debut season
- Built his career across several Austrian clubs: TSV Hartberg, Wolfsberger AC, and SK Vorwärts Steyr
- Versatile — capable of operating in multiple positions
Europa League Experience
- Featured in the Europa League twice during his time at Wolfsberger AC
- European debut came in a 2-2 draw vs AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico
- Also faced Dinamo Zagreb, CSKA Moscow, Feyenoord, and Tottenham (Round of 32)
- Went up against the likes of Lloris, Bale, and Son

Thanks to input from Matt Preston, I can share Sven is actually the 2nd Austrian to be on Walsall’s books, but keeper Albin Kajtezovic who was with Walsall in 2008/09 season didn’t get a game.
